Hundreds Yemeni throats shout for Saleh overthrow

Sana-Hundreds of Yemeni people demonstrated on Sunday in Sana a in favor of the overthrow of Tunisian dictator, Bin Ali, calling the Arab peoples for dropping their rulers.
 
The demonstration went to the Embassy of Tunisia, during which demonstrators chanted slogans calling to overthrow the authoritarian regime of Yemen.
 
According to observers, it is the first time people raise banners in Sanaa call for departure of President Saleh, who has been in power for 32 years.
 
Banners said “Revolution against the liar President”, “Where is the unification and the revolution! We became a property for the ruling family ” and “from Sadaa to Mahra, we refuse to immortalize the ruling family”.
 
Dr. Jamil Aoun, Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sanaa, told “Yemenat” that the Arabian ruler is a duplicate copy in all Arab countries, ” Zain al- Abideen, the former president of Tunisia, is still in Yemen, Egypt, Libyan …”, he added.
 
Reportedly, many civil society organizations and activists are to continue several peaceful protests until the desired change.
 
Despite the oppositions rejection, parliament ofthe ruling majority is debating a draft amendment to constitution that could open the way for authorizing Saleh, whoseterm supposedlytobe expired in 2013, to remain in his officeas president of Yemen for rest of his life.
 
A number of local surveys reported that the public opinion strongly excited for the uprising of Tunisians.

Proactive procedures to prevent repeating of what happened in Tunisia, the government of Yemen stated Sunday reducing the rate of tax on the salaries of state sector staff to 50% in a move similar to other steps have been recently adopted by some Arab countries.
 
As well as, the Ministry of Interior issued Sunday a circular prohibiting the security services to fire live bullets in any demonstrations or mass rallies.
 
According to local media reports, 8 people injured Sunday in al-Habilain city of Lahj, southern of Yemen, when army troops opened fire on a peaceful demonstration protesting on the military blockade on the area since mid of last December.

Separately, a woman died and four others injured, including 2 women and 2 children, as artillery shells of army bombed a family house in al-Habilain Sunday.
